Welcome to our church
web site. Nothing happens by accident and I believe God has led you to
this site for a purpose.
I have been the
pastor of Calvary since March of 1999. Prior to this, I served and
learned from two wonderful rural congregations in South Dakota.
The Lord has richly
blessed me growing up in a Christian family, my father and brother:
Norman and Gary have both served in the RCA. While my brother-in-law,
Tom Walcott serves as a chaplain in the US Navy.
My life has been
blessed by 3 awesome children, each one presently in college. Recently
my family has increased with a marriage to Susan (VandenBerg-Horn). So
I have added Sue’s three younger girls to our family, along with her
German Shepherd to our Black Lab.
For Sue and me, our
family is number two, behind only Jesus Christ. I also have the unique
opportunity to serve as a Reserve Air Guard Chaplain with the 110th
Fighter Wing of Battle Creek.
I pray that you
will know God’s grace and mercy in your life.
